StarterMaster is an Android App that calculates and speaks running 200 Series Concrete Masonry Starter Bar placements, while you mark them out.
Enter Panels and Openings, separated by a space. eg: for a wall with a 2400 panel, then a 2000 opening, then a 3200 panel, enter '2400 2000 3200'.
All panels and openings must be multiples of 200, and the list must end with a panel. (an odd number of entries). Tap 'Demo' to pre-fill with random examples.
Tap the 'Spacing' dropdown and select max starter bar centres. Hit 'Calculate' to create the running starter bar placement map and enable the control buttons ready to mark out the bars.
Tap 'Next' to step through the running measurements.
Tap 'Auto Speak' and it will say the measurements at set intervals, with a longer delay at larger openings.
Tap 'Voice Input' and say Next, Repeat, Back or Stop to have the app navigate the running setout list and speak the results to you.

To download and install StarterMaster on your Android device, tap Settings / Applications and check the 'Unknown sources' checkbox to allow the install.
Tap the button above to downlaod the app, then on the device, tap Downloads then StarterMaster.apk in the list and hit 'Install'.
If your Android device does not already have Text to Speech installed, the app will direct you to the Android App Market to install the free plugin.
